Angora Goats

Kalaya Farms Naturally Colored Angora Goats are carefully selected and bred for the finest quality mohair which is presented on animals of excellent conformation. These goats have enjoyable temperaments as well, and are a beautiful sight in our pasture. As the production of mohair is such a valuable resource, our goats have been bred for low micron fiber with high luster and beautiful character. We enjoy utilizing our mohair by producing inviting roving, enticing yarns, and eye catching accessories. Mohair is truely an exciting and enchanting fiber.

Coon Hollow Booker: A gorgeous soft and uniform buck that has produced champion kids. One of his black buck kids won a reserve champion ribbon at the 2005 National Colored Angora Goats Breeders Association Show in Canby, Oregon. As a two year old in 2006, his fleece is still soft, uniform, and exciting to work with. He has a strong, excellent conformation and is passing that on to his offspring. He is a wonderful example of Coon Hollow Farm breeding.
